I am selling my Brunswick Bristol II pool table. It's in excellent condition except for some very minor cosmetic issues. The slate and rails (bumpers) are in great shape, and the table plays absolutely wonderfully. I bought this used a few years ago, so I'm not sure about the exact age. If I had to guess, I'd say 6-7 years old. I had it professionally moved by Met-Tech, and the movers were very impressed with the condition of the table. (I would recommend using movers to move this table, as they will make sure it is set up correctly.)
The felt is brown and is also in good shape. If you don't like brown, then movers will usually give you a good deal on replacing the felt with the color of your choice when they set up the table. (The felt is removed and the table is disassembled when it is moved.) The cosmetic issue I mentioned above occurred when the previous owner tried to move the table without disassembling it. One of the decorative panels that is attached under the table cracked. It has absolutely no effect on the way the table plays, and you don't really notice it unless you know it's there. I've included a closeup of it, which makes it look worse than it is, but you can get an idea of what happened.
The table comes with all the accessories you'll need to play: a set of balls, 15-ball and 9-ball racks, brush, cover, bridge, cues, and a cue rack. If I get a good enough offer on the table, I may even throw in a couple lights with it (also pictured below).
The table is 8' long by 4' wide. (Actual dimensions 99" x 55".) It has 3/4" slate, which is very good. The table has been well cared for.
I'm asking $1100 for the table. The movers (3 years ago) told me the slate alone is worth $900, so I think this is a very reasonable price. The buyer is responsible for moving the table (or hiring someone to do it -- which again, I recommend doing.)
If you're interested in buying the table, you can reach me at marksibert@earthlink.net or call 919-401-4822. (Ask for Mark.)
